Chronic cervicitis causes cervical erosion

Mild cervical erosion caused by chronic cervicitis is a normal physiological phenomenon and does not require special treatment. Moderate to severe cervical erosion needs to be admitted to hospital for treatment. Delay in the disease may lead to cervical cancer. Clinically, laser surgery, Lipp knife treatment and cryotherapy are mainly used.
