Is urine microalbumin the same as urine protein?

Urine microalbumin and urine protein do not mean exactly the same thing. Although

If the patient has urine microalbumin, it is recommended to go to the hospital for reexamination of urine routine. If the urine protein reexamination result is negative, no special treatment is required.
