Building a healthier future together.
Acute bacterial prostatitis is an acute inflammatory disease of prostate caused by bacterial infection.
Acute bacterial prostatitis is mainly caused by Gram-negative bacilli, Pseudomonas and other bacteria infected by urethra. It is usually induced by fatigue, alcoholism, too frequent sexual life, etc. The patient often has symptoms such as chills, high fever, frequent micturition, urgency of urination, and pain in urination. Generally, the prognosis is good after active treatment. If not treated in time, seminal vesiculitis, epididymitis, and prostate abscess may occur.
It is recommended that patients pay attention to rest in their lives, increase water intake, change underwear frequently, and keep the vulva clean and dry.
