After nodular goiter symptoms appear, the patient needs to determine the condition of the disease. If the thyroid function is not affected, and the mass is small and clear in texture, it can be kept under observation without special treatment. If the thyroid function is abnormal, or the mass is large, surgical resection is feasible.
