Urinary protein
is a routine urine test index. Normal urine usually contains a small amount of protein, which can be excreted about 30-130mg per day. It is generally not detected by routine qualitative test methods, so the normal result is negative. However, in a few cases, such as strenuous exercise, mental stress, excessive fatigue and other conditions, it can lead to transient increase in urinary protein. The test result is weakly positive and usually normal.
Urinary protein test has certain significance in the diagnosis of kidney disease, but it needs to be combined with other related tests, such as blood test and renal function test.
