Is cervical epithelial lesion cancer?

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
Cervical intraepithelial lesions are not cancer. Cervical intraepithelial lesions are divided into low-grade and high-grade. Low-grade cervical intraepithelial lesions are usually caused by cervical inflammation. 60% can turn negative on their own, but there is also the possibility of progression to cervical cancer. High-grade cervical intraepithelial lesions are precancerous lesions. If cervical biopsy is high-grade cervical intraepithelial lesions under colposcopy, cervical conization should be performed to further rule out the possibility of cancer. If HPV16 and 18 are positive, cervical conization should be performed regardless of whether cervical intraepithelial lesions are high or low grade. If colposcopy is unsatisfactory, combined with high-risk HPV positive, cervical conization should also be performed. Postoperative tissues are sent to pathology, and further treatment is decided according to pathological results.
