Wake up with red eyes and pain

Eye redness after waking up may be caused by excessive staying up late, bacterial infection, and may be caused by styes. Hot compress can be applied to the eyes to relieve pain, and eye examination in a regular hospital; if styes are diagnosed, antibiotic eye drops are used for treatment.
