Adrenal tumors are not fixed in size and need surgery.

The size of the adrenal tumor is not the only determinant of surgery. The need for surgery depends on the nature of the tumor, its location, and the patient's symptoms and physical condition. Adrenal tumors larger than 4 cm in diameter are generally considered larger and may require surgery. However, this does not mean that cysts smaller than 4 cm do not need surgery. For malignant cysts or cysts located in key areas, resulting in obvious compression symptoms, even if they are smaller than 4 cm, surgery is also required.
