The symptoms of cerebral hemorrhage vary according to the location, volume and general condition of the hemorrhage. The general manifestations are sudden severe headache, frequent jet-like vomiting, obvious disturbance of consciousness, bilateral pupil changes with disappearance of light reflex, hemiplegia and hemiparesthesia on the opposite side of the hemorrhage focus. The elevated intracranial pressure is manifested as elevated blood pressure, shortness of breath, slow heart rate, and some patients will show epileptiform seizures. Cerebellar hemorrhage, will show dizziness, ataxia, brain stem hemorrhage, will show irregular breathing, and blood pressure drop.
