Cerebral infarction is a type of stroke, belonging to a more serious disease. Cerebral infarction, also known as ischemic stroke, refers to the limited ischemic necrosis or softening of brain tissue caused by blood circulation disorders in the brain, ischemia and hypoxia. Cerebral infarction is the most common type of cerebrovascular disease, accounting for about 70% of all acute cerebrovascular diseases. Cerebral infarction classification is divided into the following types according to different causes: Large artery atherosclerosis type, cardiogenic embolism type, small artery occlusion type, other clear causes and unknown causes.
