Prostate B ultrasound can check prostatitis

Guiding you to a healthier tomorrow.
Prostate ultrasound can be used to detect prostatitis.
Prostate ultrasound is a common and non-invasive imaging technique that allows you to observe the shape, size and structure of the prostate. It can also measure the volume of prostatic fluid to help assess the condition and extent of prostatitis. For example, during the course of acute prostatitis, due to prostate swelling and inflammation, B-ultrasound may show abnormal signs such as enlarged prostate volume and uneven internal echo, which may indicate the possibility of prostatitis. Although B-ultrasound of prostate can provide some useful information for the diagnosis of prostatitis, it cannot be used as the basis for the diagnosis of prostatitis alone. It needs to be combined with the patient's medical history, clinical symptoms, prostate specific antigen (PSA) test and other examination results to confirm whether there is prostatitis.
