Is Raynaud's disease related to Sjogren's syndrome

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
Raynaud's disease is related to Sjogren's syndrome, which may occur simultaneously or as a complication of each other.
Raynaud's disease, also known as Raynaud's syndrome, is characterized by paroxysmal pale, blue, and flushed changes in the ends of the fingers or toes, accompanied by tingling or numbness, after exposure to cold or emotional stress. Sjogren's syndrome is a chronic autoimmune disease involving exocrine glands, especially salivary and lacrimal glands, with dry eyes and mouth as common symptoms.
Both are autoimmune diseases, although their main symptoms and affected sites are different, in some cases Raynaud's disease may occur as a complication of Sjogren's syndrome, or both may exist in the same individual.
