Pregnancy requires the proper union of sperm and eggs. Under normal circumstances, a normal pregnancy requires a number of factors, including normal semen, normal cervical mucus, synchronization of the endometrium, normal and patency of fallopian tube motility, normal function of fallopian tube fimbria, and normal ovulation.
