Multiple rib fractures refer to 2 or more rib fractures, which are called multiple rib fractures. They are mainly caused by local external forces, such as falling injuries from heights, smashing injuries, and car accidents. Patients can show multiple rib fractures. To make a clear diagnosis, local X-rays, CT, and three-dimensional reconstruction CT are needed. When multiple rib fractures occur, there is often obvious pain in the chest. The local pain is very intense when pressed, and even abnormal breathing movements may cause the patient to show difficulty in breathing. Serious cases may endanger the patient's life. For patients with multiple rib fractures, active symptomatic treatment is required.
