Can a cold cover the quilt?

It is generally not recommended to cover the quilt for wind-heat cold.

Wind-heat cold is caused by wind-heat evil invasion from the body surface or nose and mouth. Most of them are characterized by low fever. If they are forcibly covered with quilt, they may cause the body temperature to rise further and delay the skin heat dissipation. Patients may sweat profusely due to poor heat dissipation and consume more water, which is not conducive to recovery. Therefore, it is generally not recommended to cover the quilt for wind-heat cold patients.

Wind-heat cold can be treated with wind-heat-dispersing drugs such as Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid, Sangju Cold Tablets, Lingqiao Jiedu Pills, etc., which are beneficial to clearing heat and detoxifying and improving clinical symptoms.
