Vision is mainly divided into distance vision, near vision, inspection methods exist differences, need to be analyzed according to.

1. Distance vision

examinee needs to be a certain distance away from the vision chart, use a mask to cover one eye, observe and record the number of lines that can be observed in the eye chart, first the right eye and then the left eye. Generally used vision charts include the new national standard vision chart and the Langley circular vision chart.

2. Near vision is

generally tested using Jaeger near vision chart, with 8 lines of different sizes on the chart, and the two eyes are tested in turn to record the font size that can be seen clearly in both eyes.
