What are the kidney stones?

Kidney stones usually occur in the renal pelvis, renal calyx and other parts.

1. Renal pelvis

is the collection of urine inside the kidney, kidney stones are easy to form and stay here. When the concentration of certain substances in the urine is too high, beyond its solubility, it may gradually crystallize and form stones. Some smaller stones may move in the renal pelvis.

2. Renal calyx

is an extension of the renal pelvis, there may be stones. The shape and structure of the renal calyx are more complex, providing a certain space for the formation and accumulation of stones. Stones may gradually increase in the renal calyx.
