Causes of breast fibroadenoma formation

The cause of breast fibroadenoma formation has not been determined. In general, it is related to factors such as hormone level changes, high sensitivity of breast tissue to estrogen, and poor dietary structure.

1. The increase of estrogen

level may over-stimulate breast ductal epithelium and stroma, causing local tissue hyperplasia, and may form tumors in the past for a long time, namely breast fibroadenoma.

2. The sensitivity of breast tissue to estrogen is high. Under normal

circumstances, the sensitivity of various parts of breast tissue to estrogen may vary. If a certain part is over-sensitive to estrogen, it may induce breast fibroadenoma.

3. Poor dietary structure

. Long term high fat and high protein diet may change the intestinal flora environment, so that steroids in bile are converted into estrogen in the colon. Estrogen will stimulate breast ductal epithelium and breast interstitial fibrous tissue hyperplasia, which will increase the risk of breast fibroadenoma.
