No mutation. Cancer?

Healing hearts, healing lives.
Gene mutation is one of the important causes of cancer, but gene mutation does not rule out the possibility of cancer.
Gene mutation is a change in DNA sequence in cell genes, which may lead to normal dysfunction of cells, abnormal proliferation, differentiation, etc., and then induce cancer. For example, BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene mutations are easy to cause breast cancer;APC gene mutations are easy to cause colorectal cancer. However, there are many causes of cancer. In addition to gene mutation, environmental factors, poor lifestyle, viral infection, etc. may all induce cancer. Therefore, under certain circumstances, although the gene sequence itself has not changed, the regulation of gene expression is disturbed, which is easy to cause cancer. Therefore, it cannot be simply assumed that there is no cancer without gene mutation.
