What if the patient can't eat after chemotherapy

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
Patients who cannot eat after chemotherapy can be relieved by dietary conditioning, drug therapy and nasal feeding diet.
1. Dietary conditioning
patients can eat tomatoes, lemons, oranges, hawthorn and other foods appropriately, which taste sour and sweet and can stimulate appetite.
2. Drug therapy
If the patient has gastrointestinal mucosal damage, drugs that protect the gastric mucosa can be used according to the doctor's advice, such as sucralfate chewable tablets, compound aluminum hydroxide tablets, rebamipide tablets, etc. If the gastrointestinal motility is insufficient, domperidone tablets, mosapride citrate dispersible tablets, itopride hydrochloride tablets, etc. can also be used according to the doctor's advice.
3. Nasal feeding diet
If the patient cannot swallow normally due to the disease, nasal feeding diet can also be adopted to deliver food to the stomach.
