What disease is radial head fracture

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
Fracture of the radial head is a common injury to the elbow.
It is caused by indirect violence, such as palm support during a fall. Violence is transmitted along the forearm to the elbow, resulting in a fracture of the radial head and capitulum. The patient may experience elbow pain, swelling, limited mobility, and may be accompanied by forearm rotation dysfunction. At this time, X-ray, CT, etc. can be used to confirm the diagnosis, and attention should be paid to evaluating whether there are other injuries. For mild, non-displaced or small displaced fractures, conservative treatment such as plaster or brace fixation can be used. For severe displaced, comminuted fractures, or other injuries affecting elbow stability, surgical treatment may be necessary to restore anatomical position and elbow function through open reduction and internal fixation.
