How to treat fundal gland polyps

Glandular polyps at the bottom of the stomach are usually removed under endoscopy, and then sent to pathology to rule out malignant changes. Gastric fundus shows adenomatous polyps, which are generally rare. Normal is due to certain correlation with eating, causing gastric fundus mucosal damage, so secondary hyperplasia causes hyperplasia caused by polyps. For benign polyps, or polyps limited to the mucosal layer, normal endoscopic resection can be used, and can be cured. However, the excised specimen must be sent for pathological examination to rule out the possibility of gastric cancer. If it is confirmed to be gastric cancer, it is normal to need further radical surgery for gastric cancer to be cured.
