What about cancer cachexia?

Cancer cachexia can be treated by surgical resection, palliative care, supportive care, etc.

1. Surgical resection of cancer

caused by cachexia patients, in the early stage of cancer, should be timely radical surgery, the lesion resection, to prevent further development of the disease or reduce the possibility of cancer recurrence and metastasis.

2. Palliative care

If cancer has developed and surgery cannot be carried out, radiation therapy and chemotherapy drugs such as cyclophosphamide, fluorouracil and paclitaxel may be required to kill cancer cells and help control the disease.

3. Supportive care

By strengthening nutritional support, ensuring adequate calorie intake and pain management, it is beneficial to improve the quality of life of patients.
