How to recover femoral intertrochanteric fracture

Restoring health, one step at a time.
Intertrochanteric fracture of femur can be treated by general treatment, drug treatment, surgical treatment and other ways to promote disease recovery.
1. General treatment
patients should keep the affected limb immobilized and local cold compress to reduce interstitial fluid exudation, which can alleviate uncomfortable symptoms. If the fracture is mild, the affected limb can be gradually recovered by manual reduction and long-term immobilization.
2. Drug treatment
patients can use aspirin, celecoxib, indomethacin and other drugs to relieve pain symptoms, and thrombin, adrenal hydrazone tablets, tranexamic acid and other drugs to reduce bleeding.
3. Surgical treatment
manual reduction failure or severe fracture patients need timely surgical treatment to restore normal joint structure and internal fixation to prevent malunion.
