Stage IV papillary thyroid cancer is a four-stage, indicating that the disease has progressed to the advanced stage. Stage IV can be divided into two stages, regardless of the size of the tumor, cancer cells spread to the surrounding lymph nodes, prevertebral fascia or surrounding carotid artery, mediastinal blood vessels, called IVA. Any size tumor, spread to the surrounding lymph nodes or metastasis to other parts of the body, such as lungs, bones, called IVB. To clarify the stage of papillary thyroid cancer, it is recommended to evaluate the patient's physical condition as soon as possible.
