What tests can detect whether the body has cancer

Cancer can be detected by laboratory examination, imaging examination and pathological histology examination.

1. Laboratory examination

can detect whether tumor markers, such as alpha-fetoprotein, carcinoembryonic antigen and carbohydrate antigen 199, are one of the auxiliary diagnostic methods of cancer.

2. Imaging examination

can determine whether there are space-occupying lesions suspected of malignant tumor in patients through endoscopy and CT examination.

3. Pathological histology examination

can determine whether there are cancer cells in patients by taking pathological tissues of the lesion site.
