We normally measure sex hormone levels to understand female endocrine function and diagnosis and endocrine disorders related diseases. Six commonly used sex hormones, namely FSH, LH, estradiol (E2), progesterone (P), testosterone (T), prolactin (PRL). The six methods to judge menopause are as follows: 1. Prolactin, referred to as prolactin. The determination of prolactin concentration is conducive to the determination of hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction. Pituitary-type tumors can lead to high levels of prolactin. Clinical manifestations are amenorrhea, lactation, and prolactin decline after medication. Menstruation can return to normal. 2. Follicle stimulating hormone, FSH, and LH are closely related to the control of reproductive activity. In menopause, post-ovariectomy, and premature ovarian failure, fsh>40 indicates ovarian failure. 3. Luteinizing hormone, elevated in hypogonadism, primary testicular failure, fine tube dysplasia, hyperthyroidism, cirrhosis, and severe hunger. Decreased LH can lead to infertility and certain dysfunction of the pituitary or hypothalamus. 4. Estradiol determination is an important indicator for evaluating various menstrual abnormalities. 5. Testosterone, high testosterone can diagnose hyperandrogenism. Clinical manifestations are hirsutism, obesity, amenorrhea, or abnormal menstruation. 6. Progesterone, used to determine the presence or absence of ovulation and luteal phase function in infertile women.
