What does ovulation mean?

Passionate about your health journey.
Ovulation Day is the time when an egg is released.
Specifically, ovulation day is the process by which an egg is released from the ovary and enters the fallopian tube. On ovulation day, a woman's ovary releases a mature egg, which enters the fallopian tube with follicular fluid and is ready to combine with sperm to form a fertilized egg. Generally speaking, ovulation day is in the middle of the menstrual cycle, usually around the 14th day before the next menstrual cycle. However, ovulation day may be affected by a variety of factors, such as mood swings, environmental changes, diet and exercise, so accurate determination of ovulation day requires medical testing methods, such as basal temperature measurement, cervical mucus observation, ovulation test paper detection, ultrasound examination, etc.
