A pregnancy test is a disposable test product used to determine whether a woman is pregnant, primarily by checking her hcg level. Normally, a woman's luteinizing hormone level increases during ovulation, while her hcg level remains within the normal range, so there are no positive indicators, i.e., two bars.

use a pregnancy test, a woman places the test strip in her freshly collected urine and waits a few minutes for one or two lines to appear on the test strip to represent the test result.
