Nystagmus physical examination includes routine examination, nervous system examination, induced nystagmus, etc.
1. Routine examination
mainly judges whether the patient has abnormal vision symptoms through vision test, optometry and visual examination, fundus examination, visual field examination, etc., so as to preliminarily judge whether there is nystagmus.
2. Nervous system examination
generally judges whether the patient has nervous system positioning signs, ataxia, etc. according to knee-shin test, eyes closed and difficult to stand sign, straight line walking test, etc., and preliminarily judges the cause of nystagmus.
3. Induced nystagmus
patients need to sit on a chair and stop rotating for 30 seconds, and then stare at an object to induce nystagmus. According to the nature, direction, size, speed of nystagmus and whether there is nystagmus disorder, etc., the degree of the patient's condition can be judged.
