What causes the baby's phimosis?

Phimosis is caused by physiological reasons, local infection, trauma and other reasons.

1. Physiological reasons The

foreskin and glans are adhered to each other during the embryonic period, presenting a state of mutual fusion, so phimosis will be formed.

2. Local infection

If the foreskin and glans are infected after birth, the infection will stimulate the local skin, leading to scar formation, causing skin elasticity to decline, so the local skin will become tough and roll back, causing phimosis.

3. Trauma

If there is trauma experience, leading to scar formation of foreskin and glans, local skin will thicken and harden, and contracture will occur, thus causing phimosis.
