Ovulation usually lasts for a few days

Restoring health, one step at a time.
For women with regular menstrual cycles, if the follicles mature, ovulation will occur suddenly within 48 hours of follicle rupture and egg discharge. Ovulation is only a very short process, which is relatively long compared to ovulation, about 7~10 days. After ovulation, the eggs can generally survive for 24~48 hours, so cohabitation during this period can improve the chances of conception. The normal ovulation day is about 14 days before the next menstruation, 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, all belong to ovulation period. However, women's ovulation is affected by many factors. If the menstrual cycle is irregular, the ovulation day cannot be accurately calculated, and B-ultrasound monitoring can be taken to determine the time of ovulation.
