How to check urethritis

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
Urethritis is mainly diagnosed by urethral specimen smear, nucleic acid amplification test, urethral secretion culture and other examinations.
1, urethral specimen smear
generally choose gram staining method, under the microscope to observe whether there are different forms of bacteria, so as to preliminarily determine whether there is urethritis.
2, nucleic acid amplification test
mainly through nucleic acid amplification test in a short period of time to copy a large number of bacteria DNA, so as to further determine whether there is urethritis according to whether the test results are positive.
3, urethral secretion
culture is usually adopted to specifically identify the type of bacteria, such as gonococcus, chlamydia trachomatis, etc., so as to determine whether the patient has infection, and to provide a basis for the later treatment plan.
