The difference between incontinence and amniotic fluid rupture

Urinary incontinence and amniotic fluid rupture are different in definition, clinical manifestations and different populations.

1. Definition of different

urinary incontinence refers to the involuntary outflow of urine from the urethra; while amniotic fluid rupture refers to the spontaneous rupture of membranes before labor, resulting in involuntary outflow of amniotic fluid from the vagina.

2. Clinical manifestations of different

urinary incontinence fluid volume will not be too much, generally simple flow of urine. Amniotic fluid rupture is continuous, will repeatedly flow liquid, and will not improve after urination.
