What does leucocyte esterase weakly positive mean?

Guiding you with care, every step of the way.
White blood cell esterase weak positive refers to a small amount of white blood cell esterase detected in urine and vaginal secretions, suggesting that there may be inflammatory infection.
White blood cell esterase exists in white blood cells, and inflammatory substances released by the body mostly contain white blood cell esterase. Weak positive indicates that inflammatory substances are released in the body, but inflammation is relatively mild. However, if the patient suffers from trauma early, or after strenuous exercise, the body can also release a large number of white blood cells, which can also cause weak positive white blood cell esterase. The patient can be distinguished by accompanying symptoms, such as frequent urination, urgency, itching, pain, etc.
