Symptoms of hypertension in pregnancy

Hypertension in the third trimester of pregnancy may cause hypertension, edema, proteinuria, dizziness and blurred vision. In severe cases, symptoms such as convulsion coma and heart failure may occur. Patients should be admitted to hospital in time for antihypertensive treatment according to doctor's advice. Continuous increase of blood pressure may lead to intrauterine fetal death or premature delivery.
