16 is severe?

Physiological jaundice occurs in newborns 2~3 days after birth, and the jaundice value reaches its peak on 4~5 days after birth. If the jaundice value measured on 4~ 5 days after birth is 16mg/dL, it cannot indicate the severity of jaundice. It needs to be comprehensively judged in combination with the clinical manifestations and signs of newborns. Under normal circumstances, physiological jaundice usually resolves spontaneously within two weeks after birth.
