Face and eyes caused by herpes zoster virus infection

Herpes zoster virus infection may be caused by decreased immunity and infection with herpes zoster virus. It usually causes local skin blisters, pain and other symptoms. It is usually treated with anti-viral ointment, but also oral oryzanol, vitamin b and other neurotrophic drugs to relieve facial and eye pain.
