Cough all the time, no sputum. What's going on?

Cough without sputum may be caused by dry weather, environmental stimulation and inhalation of foreign bodies, or by allergic cough, bronchitis and chronic pharyngitis. Laryngoscopy should be performed in hospital. Suggestions: drink plenty of hot water at ordinary times to keep the throat moist.
