How is uterine hypertrophy caused

Uterine hypertrophy is caused by ovarian dysfunction, chronic myositis of the uterus, pelvic congestion, pathogen infection, and primary uterine vascular disease. It can cause excessive menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation, or shortened menstrual cycle, but the number of menstrual periods remains the same.
