Can normal lymph nodes be touched?

Normal superficial lymph nodes can be touched, such as behind the ear and groin. Deep lymph nodes should not be touched. If deep lymph nodes are touched, they may be induced by diseases such as lymph node enlargement and lymphadenitis.
