Creatinine is an indicator of renal function. Normal male reference value is 53-106umol/l, female 44.2- 88.4 umol/l. If creatinine is abnormally elevated, it indicates that the patient has renal disease. If the disease duration exceeds three months, it is considered to be chronic renal failure.
