Check the body and say it's an accessory spleen. What's going on?

The accessory spleen is a tissue surrounding the hilum of the spleen and is similar in structure to a normal spleen. This condition usually does not cause obvious discomfort and therefore does not require treatment. However, when the accessory spleen ruptures or embolizes, it causes painful symptoms and requires surgical removal.
