Liver cirrhosis causes liver failure.

In cirrhosis, hyperplastic fibrous bundles and hepatocellular nodules will squeeze the hepatic sinus, leading to narrowing of the hepatic sinus, obstruction of portal vein blood flow, resulting in high portal vein pressure, obstruction of splenic vein return, which will cause splenomegaly. Suggestion: Patients can be treated conservatively first, and severe splenomegaly can be treated by surgery.
