Is hiccups related to heart disease?

Hiccups and heart disease has nothing to do with it. Hiccups are caused by diaphragm spasms, mostly due to patients eating too much greasy, fried and other indigestible food, resulting in gastrointestinal indigestion, hiccups symptoms. Also considered is sliding esophageal hiatus hernia, chronic gastritis and other diseases, can lead to hiccups symptoms.
