What is the recurrence rate of lung cancer?

Early lung cancer generally refers to primary tumors less than 3 cm, without chest distress symptoms, no invasion of adjacent organs, no distant metastasis. The recurrence rate of early lung cancer is relatively low, generally around 10%-20%, and the 5-year survival rate after surgery is about 80%. Postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy or chemotherapy is generally not required.
