Tonsil hypertrophy can be divided into three degrees, if the tonsil does not exceed the glossopalatine arch, can be divided into one degree, and two degrees of hypertrophy refers to the tonsil and glossopalatine arch flush, and three degrees of hypertrophy refers to the tonsil beyond the pharyngeal arch, and reach the uvula; usually tonsil hypertrophy is caused by tonsil inflammation, and upper respiratory tract infection.
