Symptoms of scarlet fever in children

Scarlet fever is an acute respiratory disease caused mainly by group A streptococci infection. It usually causes headache, sore throat, red bayberry tongue, loss of appetite, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, pale circles around the mouth, facial congestion, flushing, rash, molting and other symptoms. Penicillin drugs should be used for treatment.
