Can urine routine check out diabetes?

Diabetes mellitus can not be detected by urine routine examination. Blood test is needed to confirm diabetes mellitus. If the patient's random plasma glucose is greater than 11mmol/L or OGTT test or 2-hour blood glucose is greater than 11.6 mmol/L or fasting plasma glucose is greater than 7mmol/L, accompanied by three more and one less symptoms, diabetes mellitus can be diagnosed.
