Pleurisy and tuberculosis are not the same, pleurisy is caused by microbial infection including bacteria or viruses, tumors, chest trauma, etc., the cause is more complex, tuberculosis is mainly caused by infection with tuberculosis bacilli, pleurisy is not infectious but tuberculosis infectious is very strong.
